The Sure condoms distributed in Kenya, largely for free, have been recalled after its manufacturer raised quality concerns.
With effect, Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (Kemsa), has written a letter to all concerned agencies asking them to facilitate the smooth withdrawal of the condoms from the market.
This move happens barely a day after another government agency called on the public to stop taking a heart bum reliever Ranitidine, widely sold in Kenya as Neotack over concerns it has potential cancer-causing elements.
